- Main navigation: After you log in, you will be taken to the Documents page first. You can reach additional important areas using the main navigation.
- Profile menu: This is where you can configure settings for your account, change your tariff, or conclude a subscription. You will also find the imprint here.
- Search: foxdox provides you with a full-text search that is similar to Google. Learn more at Searching and Finding Documents.****
- Folder tree: In the left column, you will also see the folder tree, which is where you can save all of your documents in a structured fashion.
- Edit folder: You can edit the folder you have currently selected using this menu. You can also create a new sub-folder here. Find out more at Creating a Folder****
- File list: You can find all of the files available in the selected folder in the file list.
- Info pane: If a file is selected, additional information appears here, such as the creation date and the document type.
- More folders
- Received documents: All documents or folders that one of your contacts has shared with you appear in this folder.
- Shared documents: All documents or folders that you have shared with a contact appear in this folder.
- System: This is where you can find documents that are available in offline mode or that were stored in an audit-proof manner. This is also where you can access the Recycle bin.
- Detail view: The system converts the selected document into a PDF so you can view it, and this document appears in the detail view. Exceptions include films and rare file formats. You can also scroll, zoom, or have the document displayed in full-screen mode here.
- Document options: The menu list above the detail view contains all functions that are available for the document.
- Back to overview: Go back to the list view of all files in the folder.
- Info pane: The Info pane contains all the information stored in the properties of the document.
